Three Weeks in United States

I went on a holiday with my husband Lucas and my daughter Martha to USA on June 20 for a three week vacation to visit my son Roy. We stayed in Redmond for the first week. On the second week, Roy had arranged for us a 7 day cruise to Alaska via the Crown Princess. For the cruise, he signed up with the plein air artist group. He also signed up his father as an artist and Martha and I as guests. They had painting sessions and seminars on the ship, and more paintings when the ship docked on ports. Lucas painted a few but he could not handle the cold air. Although he was all bundled up but his exposed fingers could not do the work. So Lucas, Martha and I, we just took pictures mostly and explored the ports and towns and/or went on paid excursions inland. There were several activities on board liked bingo, casino, gym, dance class, shows etc. But I was mostly interested only with dancing and Martha went to the gym once. At sea, we simply liked to hang out at the lounge or dining area or explore the decks and look at the sea and watch out for whales or dolphins. It was interesting meeting Roy's paint group, and we loved to watch the artists at work. Eating was our main preoccupation and food, it was plentiful. Hahaha.

Indeed, it was a new and enjoyable experience for us on cruise. Pictures will follow on my next posts.
