I'll be on the road travelling with Lucas, Emil, Martha, Marion and my sister Helen. We'll be away for a month.....until then......I'll be back to the site again.

News from Blacksburg

Yesterday morning, I woke up to the news from Blacksburg, Virginia. There was shooting incident on campus at Virginia Tech where my son Roy is taking his graduate studies. Although I received a text message from Roy immediately regarding his safety, I still panic. I wanted to know if everything was alright over there. I followed up most of the news from cnn, yahoo and Roy's site. My niece Grace who was on a business trip in China was the first one to call home to tell us Roy was ok. Relatives and friends called and texted me to inquire about Roy's safety. I told them Roy's ok. Thank God he was at home in his apartment when the shooting incident happened. All Filipino students in VT were safe and accounted for. Thank God for all their safety.

yehey ! vacation

School is off and vacation is here. I have not packed my bags yet for I am still doing some finishing touches in school and at home, then yehey! vacation here I come! I am going on a long vacation this year for more than a month with my children. I am so excited.

Mean time, I have a Rotary exchange visitor at home for three days. It is so hot these days that I don't know how my visitor is going to stand the heat. Lucas and I are trying to make his stay comfortable. I hope he does not melt. Even tap water comes out hot. Anyway I'll post some pictures later.
